oh alright...I needed a new outfit, and if we're going to be technical it was a more wanting a new outfit.
Here is the skirt I made out of my other purchase from the lovely people at Equilter in the US.
Its 100% cotton fabric and sold off the bolt at 54'' wide - super good for matching up the print and having some fabric leftover for another project yet to be determined.
The skirt is another pattern from the UK magazine SewHip. The original pattern makes a sash bow to go through the belt loops, but with this I am picturing either a red or black patent leather belt.
The skirt is fully lined and has 6 black buttons down the front.
I'm really pleased with this effort as I took my time sewing it...oh alright, it had to be sewn in 10min stages to fit around my time with J.
All in all, I'm thinking its super cute and will look even better with a pair of killer heels.
Hmm...more shopping...
